Uta Naumann

UtART is the studio of artist Uta Naumann. For fifteen years, it has been creating designs, illustrations and photography for walls, fabrics and decorative surfaces. A single defining style is not the focus. What matters more is the freedom to explore different visual worlds and develop motifs with a distinctive artistic voice. Inspiration often comes from past eras: historical wallpapers, botanical illustrations, antique ornaments, Chinoiserie, Arts & Crafts, Baroque forms, Gothic moods and classic floral motifs. These influences are not simply copied, but reimagined, combined and translated into contemporary compositions. The work ranges from romantic florals, opulent wall murals and dark decorative motifs to atmospheric landscapes, playful children’s worlds, woodland animals and narrative scenes. UtART stands for variety without randomness: designs with history, character and a visible love of historical detail, floral forms and imaginative visual worlds.

Andrea Haase

Andrea Haase has been working as a full-time artist for the past 20 years. She has never been very good at sticking to one artistic style - she is simply too versatile and curious for that. She loves trying new things, learning different techniques, and experimenting with materials and tools. In that respect, she is still a bit like a child and art is her playground. That curiosity is reflected in her portfolio, which moves freely between vintage and modern, handmade and digital, realistic and surreal, spanning a wide range of techniques, subjects, and eras. She has always had a soft spot for anything old and historic — from botanical illustrations and old maps to ornaments and forgotten drawings. She enjoys discovering these visual treasures and giving them a new life by combining them with contemporary ideas and compositions.

Margaret Clavell

I am a surface pattern designer based in the beautiful Cotswolds, England. With a background in graphic design and interior design studies, my creative journey naturally led me to surface pattern design—though it wasn’t until around six years ago, when I designed a cushion for a friend’s 1970s home, that I truly discovered my passion for creating patterns. Since then, I haven’t stopped designing. My work is heavily inspired by William Morris and the flowing lines of Art Nouveau, and I particularly enjoy creating intricate floral patterns suited to home décor, fabrics, and wallpaper. When I’m not designing, I’m a keen tennis player and an amateur photographer. I love travelling and capturing photographs of beautiful landscapes and inspiring details from around the world, which often find their way back into my designs. Sue Cheer

Hi, I’m Sue, the New Zealand–based designer behind Story Pieces. I create storybook-inspired wallpapers, intricate florals, and timeless decorative patterns that bring warmth, character, and a little wonder into your home. My designs are created to make spaces feel personal, inviting, and uniquely yours. Inspired by nature, childhood memories, and the beauty of traditional arts and crafts, I love the charm and character of vintage designs and enjoy reimagining them in ways that feel fresh and relevant for today’s homes. My creative process begins with hand-drawn sketches, which I develop into detailed patterns filled with thoughtful little touches. Whether it’s an imagined woodland world, a delicate botanical design, or an elaborate floral, I love creating patterns that invite you to look a little closer and discover something new. I believe the patterns we choose to live with should do more than decorate our walls. They should make us feel something – a sense of comfort, a little joy, perhaps a touch of nostalgia – and become part of the stories we create in our homes.

Fig and Willow Designs

Welcome! I’m Allyson Marie, a surface pattern designer and mixed media artist based in a small town in upstate New York. With a degree in Graphic Design, a minor in Photography, and a full-time career as a Registered Nurse, my creative practice is rooted in intentionality, care, and a deep appreciation for the natural world. For the past five years, I’ve been bringing nature’s quiet details to life through surface design. My process begins out in the world—drawing, watercolor painting, or photographing organic motifs—before translating them into seamless repeat patterns using Procreate and Adobe Illustrator. My aesthetic leans toward eclectic botanicals, nostalgic textures, and nature-inspired themes created for fabrics, wallpapers, and home decor. There is nothing more fulfilling than knowing my artwork finds a place in your everyday spaces.

Noemi Marozsan Designs

I'm a surface pattern designer and illustrator based in Ipswich, UK, creating original patterns for walls, homes and creative projects. I've always loved patterns, fabrics and beautiful little details. Before focusing on surface pattern design, I ran my own fabric shop, Lilly and Mimi Fabric Shop, where I imported fabrics, worked with suppliers and helped customers choose prints for their projects. That experience taught me that a pattern has to work as more than a pretty image on a screen. Scale, colour, repeat and detail all matter, especially on a wall. Every design I create is original and made with that in mind, so it looks just as good in your home as it does in the sample.
