Uta Naumann

UtART is the studio of artist Uta Naumann. For fifteen years, it has been creating designs, illustrations and photography for walls, fabrics and decorative surfaces. A single defining style is not the focus. What matters more is the freedom to explore different visual worlds and develop motifs with a distinctive artistic voice. Inspiration often comes from past eras: historical wallpapers, botanical illustrations, antique ornaments, Chinoiserie, Arts & Crafts, Baroque forms, Gothic moods and classic floral motifs. These influences are not simply copied, but reimagined, combined and translated into contemporary compositions. The work ranges from romantic florals, opulent wall murals and dark decorative motifs to atmospheric landscapes, playful children’s worlds, woodland animals and narrative scenes. UtART stands for variety without randomness: designs with history, character and a visible love of historical detail, floral forms and imaginative visual worlds.
